Yadagirigutta: Authorities have sped up the process of gold plating the vimanagopuram (temple tower) of the famous Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.
On Thursday, Executive Officer (EO) Bhaskar Rao handed over around 12 kilograms of gold to Smart Creations, a company based in Chennai. The gold was transported to Chennai for the gold plating work on the temple tower.
Representatives from Smart Creations inspected and weighed the gold before accepting it. It is expected that the temple authorities will provide more gold to the company in the next phase of the project.
EO Bhaskar Rao was accompanied by Assistant Executive Officer (AEO) Gajivelli Raghu and SPF Inspector Seshagiri Rao during the gold handover process.
