Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police have taken action against 17 pubs and other entertainment places in the city for causing sound pollution and not having the required licenses for entertainment.
On Friday night, teams from the Cyberabad police, along with officials from the Pollution Control Board, inspected these pubs and amusement spots.
During the inspections, it was discovered that these 17 pubs did not have proper licenses and were also exceeding the permissible sound levels, leading to sound pollution. The police have filed cases against them and seized their sound systems.
