    22 Players from Bhupalapally Selected for State-Level Kabaddi Tournament

    Bhupalapally: A total of 22 kabaddi players from Bhupalapally district have been chosen to participate in the State-level kabaddi tournament. The event is scheduled to take place in Jangaon from December 27 to 29, as announced by MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao on Friday.

    The selection process was conducted under the guidance of District Kabaddi Association Chairman, Thakkallapalli Raju. Boys and girls competing in the Under-20 category showcased their skills at the Ambedkar Sports Ground, where the final selection was made.

    MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao attended the selection event as the chief guest. During the event, he interacted with the young athletes and encouraged them. Chairman Raju shared that a total of 250 athletes from the district participated, out of which 22 boys and 22 girls were selected to represent the district.

    To support the athletes, MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao promised to provide a kabaddi mat for the sports ground, ensuring better facilities for their training and future matches.
