The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) will conduct exams for 783 Group-2 service posts on the 15th and 16th of this month. To accommodate the large number of candidates, 1,368 examination centers have been set up across the state. The exams will use the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) method for evaluation.

The recruitment process has drawn a massive response, with 551,943 candidates applying after the advertisement was released on December 29, 2022. Although the exams were originally planned for earlier dates, they were postponed multiple times due to technical issues.

The exams will include four separate papers, each worth 150 marks, adding up to a total of 600 marks. There will be two sessions each day—one from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and another from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates should note that the examination gates will close 30 minutes before the start of each session, so punctuality is crucial.

To take the exam, candidates must bring a government-issued photo ID along with their hall ticket. The commission has also provided guidelines for the dress code, allowing candidates to wear a mangalsutra and bangles but advising them to wear sandals instead of shoes.

Additionally, TGPSC has made biometric verification mandatory for all candidates. Those who fail to complete the biometric process will have their OMR answer sheets excluded from evaluation.

With detailed preparations and a record number of applicants, TGPSC is committed to conducting a smooth and fair recruitment process.
