23rd Convocation at IIITH Sees 600 Students Receive Degrees

The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH) recently held its 23rd convocation, where 600 students graduated, including a record number of 32 PhDs and 224 Master’s with thesis. Among the graduates, 229 earned their degree based on a high-quality thesis. Graduates from IIITH’s various programs are excelling in universities and product groups worldwide.

Yarramaneni Jaishnav received the IIITH gold medal for outstanding academic performance in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), while Thatipamula Harshvardhan was recognized as the Best All-rounder in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) for his contributions in academics, extra-curricular activities, and IIITH services. A total of 136 companies participated in placements, with 102 conducting interviews.

During the ceremony, Prof. P J Narayanan, Director of IIITH, praised the graduating students for their achievements and encouraged them to navigate the competitive professional world. Dr N Kalaiselvi, Director General of CSIR & Secretary of DSIR, congratulated the students and wished them success in their future endeavors. Prof Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Chairman of the Governing Council of IIIT Hyderabad, also addressed the graduates.
