Finance Minister T Harish Rao gave the Yudhvir Foundation Memorial Award to Vandita Rao and Rammohan Rao for their work improving education in rural areas through the Rural Development Foundation (RDF). The awards were presented at an event on Sunday. Harish Rao praised the couple’s dedication to education and noted that they have been working for 30 years to promote equality by dedicating 25% of their income to educating the poor. The Minister urged the couple to accept the award and inspire others to do good.
At the event, the Health Minister also spoke and acknowledged that Telangana is one of the top states in the health sector, but they are striving for first place and not content with their current third position.
