Gadwal: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Telangana expressed worries about increasing American influence on India's foreign policy. This concern was voiced by State Secretary John Wesley during a meeting at Anantha Convention Hall in the district. District committee member G. Raju led the gathering, which included many party leaders and activists.

John Wesley questioned why the central government stayed silent on Donald Trump's claim that he prevented a war between India and Pakistan. He demanded an explanation from the Modi government about America's role in shaping India’s foreign policy.

Wesley criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for celebrating India’s economic status, while ignoring domestic inequalities. He pointed out that a small percentage of capitalists hold most of the country’s wealth, while the majority struggle for basic needs.

Before the meeting, a symbolic bike rally started from Jammiched, ended at Ambedkar Chowk, and included tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Jyotirao Phule. This emphasized the party’s focus on social justice.

The event also allowed leaders from other parties and local organizations to meet Wesley, honor him, and discuss public issues in the district.
