In Hyderabad, Ministers Thummala Nageswara Rao and Ponnam Prabhakar urged party members to secure a win in the Jubilee Hills by-election.
They organized several meetings with local party workers, including booth managers, to prepare for the election.
Thummala encouraged party members to share the Congress party’s successes with voters. He stressed the importance of unity for victory, urging everyone to collaborate from the booth level. “Work together and gather voter details to ensure a strong majority in each booth,” the Agriculture Minister stated.
Ponnam Prabhakar dismissed the potential sympathy vote after the passing of the sitting BRS MLA, highlighting Congress’s success in the cantonment by-elections. He stated that true progress in the constituency is achievable with Congress in power. “Winning Jubilee Hills will enable development. The government is implementing numerous welfare projects, improving roads, drainage, and sanitation in Hyderabad. We aim to elevate the capital to international standards,” he noted.
