A grand rally took place in Aiza town, Jogulamba Gadwal district, celebrating National Students’ Day and the Foundation Day of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). The event, organized by the ABVP Aiza unit, started at the Old Bus Stand and saw active participation from students and ABVP members.
At Main Chowrasta, a flag was hoisted by District President Mr. Anjaneyulu, who delivered an inspiring speech. He shared that ABVP was founded on July 9, 1949, by five students at Delhi University. Since then, it has grown into a major student movement, encouraging duty and patriotism among the youth across the country.
Mr. Anjaneyulu extended greetings to all ABVP leaders and members. He remembered Professor Om Prakash Bahl, the first national president, who inaugurated ABVP at a significant gathering at Delhi University.
The speech highlighted ABVP’s dedication to national reconstruction, removing foreign influences from education, opposing education commercialization, and promoting Indian cultural values. Mr. Anjaneyulu emphasized the motto “Education for Life, Life for the Nation,” aiming to transform student energy into national strength.
The rally echoed the slogan “Knowledge, Character, Unity – the Identity of ABVP,” showcasing the organization’s growth into one of the largest student bodies worldwide.
Notable participants included: Mallikarjun, Muniswami, Venkatesh (SFD State Co-Convener), Lokesh (State Executive Member), Sridhar Reddy (Nagar Secretary), C. Naresh (Joint Secretary), Ashok (Sports In-Charge), Raghavendra, Balram (Media In-Charge), and Nikhil (College Convener). Many local ABVP activists, such as Madhu, Pawan, Venkatesh, and others, also participated.
The rally concluded with powerful slogans of unity and patriotism, invigorating the youth with a renewed commitment to national and social duties.
