Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a Deputy State Tax Officer for taking a bribe. The officer, identified as M Sudha, was stationed in Madhapur. She asked for Rs 8,000 to handle a company’s GST registration.
After receiving a complaint, the ACB set a trap. They caught her in the act as she accepted the bribe. She was immediately arrested and will face the court.
