ACB Files Case Against KTR Over Formula E Car Race Issue

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case against Telangana IT Minister K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) regarding alleged irregularities in the Formula E car race issue. Along with KTR, the case also implicates Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Arvind Kumar and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer B. L. N. Reddy.

KTR has been named as the prime accused (A1) in the case. IAS officer Arvind Kumar has been labeled as the second accused (A2), while Chief Engineer B. L. N. Reddy is the third accused (A3).

The case is part of investigations surrounding the Formula E race event held in Hyderabad. Allegations of corruption and misconduct in the event’s planning and execution have prompted this action by the ACB.
