Telangana CM Orders Probe into ORR Tender Irregularities
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate alleged irregularities in the Outer Ring Road (ORR) tender process. This decision comes after a request was reportedly made by MLA Harish Rao.
The Chief Minister explained that the guidelines and procedures for the investigation will first be discussed in the cabinet. He emphasized that the purpose of this step is to ensure transparency and fairness in the process.
MLA Harish Rao responded to the announcement by clarifying that he did not personally request an investigation into the ORR tenders. However, he expressed support for the Chief Minister’s initiative, stating that a detailed inquiry will help uphold accountability.
