Vaanya Aggarwal, a rising actress in Tollywood, opened the National Silk Expo-2025 in Hyderabad. The event takes place at Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam in Srinagar Colony and is organized by Jagdishwar Hastkala. Vaanya emphasized the importance of such platforms for women seeking quality handmade cotton and silk garments, including unique silk saris and handloom pieces.
Jayesh Kumar, the exhibition organizer, explained to the media that the main goal is to support weavers and boost the handloom industry. These events help create a market for handloom products, reaching areas where exhibitions might not be possible.
The exhibition aims to connect customers directly with weavers, offering pure silk and cotton items without middlemen. The Expo is open until July 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
