    Dr. Ddharaniikota Ssuyodhan introduced his novel, Disha, at T-Hub in Hyderabad on Friday, June 27, 2025. The event drew many intellectuals, artists, bureaucrats, and civil society members.

    Key figures discussed the importance of challenging institutional failures and promoting justice through art and activism. Hebah Patel, a celebrated actress, spoke passionately about storytelling’s power to drive social change, applauding the book for highlighting the voices of women in uniform.

    Dr. Manjula Anagani, a Padma Shri Awardee and advocate for women’s health, commended the novel for its honest depiction of women’s struggles within rigid systems, stating it helps build a more aware society.

    Shri Kannan Parameshwaran, a strategic advisor, emphasized the need for ethics in public leadership, praising the book for exploring the dilemmas faced by law enforcement.

    Shri Girija Shankar, a retired IAS and former Principal Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, and Shri P. Venkata Rami Reddy, also a retired IAS, were present.

    The author, Dr. Ssuyodhan, shared that Disha reflects real lives and challenges what is deemed lawful when justice is hard to find. He dedicated the book to those who speak out against silence.

    The event included the book’s unveiling, an excerpt reading by the author, and a panel discussion on justice, gender, and governance, ending with a vote of thanks and networking over tea.
