Public Gardens in Hyderabad is set to be the stage for the Republic Day celebrations. For the past two years, the event was limited to Raj Bhavan, but this time it has been moved back to the public garden. The government is making arrangements to organize the event on a grand scale, although the venue for the events at the Parade Ground has not been decided yet.

Government Chief Secretary Shantikumari conducted a review with senior officials at the Secretariat to discuss the arrangements for Republic Day. It was decided that the celebration will take place on January 26th in the Public Garden, with Governor Tamilisai unfurling the national flag. All departments have been instructed to work together and make suitable arrangements for the festival without any difficulties. CM Revanth Reddy will also be attending the Republic Day celebration.

In the past, there were criticisms about the negligence of the then government in managing this national festival. In 2023, there were plans to hold a limited-scale Republic Day at Raj Bhavan without a parade. However, a petition was filed in the High Court regarding the organization of the festival and the court responded by stating that it should be held grandly with a parade. The decision of the venue was left to the government, and Raj Bhavan was chosen as the venue for the festival. However, neither KCR nor his fellow ministers attended the event. In 2022, KCR also did not attend the Republic Day celebration at Raj Bhavan.
