On Tuesday, the High Court reviewed a public interest litigation by Advocate B. Srinivasulu. The case requested the State and Central governments to announce the filling of Additional and Assistant Public Prosecutor positions in Telangana, along with other vacancies.
Chief Justice Singh asked the government lawyer for an update on the matter. Assistant Government Pleader D. Surender Kumar stated that a notification would likely be issued within two weeks and promised to officially record this information.
The court agreed with his statement and scheduled the next hearing for September 2.
