    Hyderabad: In preparation for Haj-2025, the Telangana State Haj Committee held a meeting on Tuesday to ensure smooth arrangements for the pilgrimage. The meeting focused on coordination among various government departments.

    Shaik Yasmeen Basha, Director of Minorities Welfare, led the meeting and gave clear instructions to all departments to complete their tasks on time. She stressed the importance of teamwork, early planning, and quick response to meet the needs of the pilgrims, especially during the busy days at the Hyderabad Embarkation Point.

    The meeting was attended by senior officials from departments such as police, traffic, fire services, GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation), SBI (State Bank of India), Roads & Buildings, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), Telangana State Power Distribution Company (TSSPDCL), Telangana Transco, Medical & Health, and Horticulture. The goal was to make sure all departments work together smoothly to manage the departure and return of pilgrims from Telangana.

    Yasmeen Basha gave specific instructions to each department. She asked GHMC to keep the Haj House area clean, the police and traffic departments to manage vehicle flow and ensure safety, and the Medical & Health department to provide proper medical support. Roads & Buildings were told to maintain roads leading to the Haj House, while TSSPDCL was asked to supply uninterrupted electricity. SBI was requested to make banking services easy for the pilgrims.

    She also reminded everyone of the importance of this holy journey and the government’s promise to offer the best services to the pilgrims. The meeting ended with all departments agreeing to work closely together to make the pilgrimage smooth and respectful for everyone involved.
