Hyderabad: A new landmark for movie lovers is set to arrive in the city as Allu Cinemas prepares to launch Asia’s largest Dolby Cinema at Kokapet, Hyderabad. The upcoming multiplex promises a premium cinematic experience with cutting-edge Dolby Vision projection and Dolby Atmos sound technology, setting a new benchmark for movie viewing in India.
The flagship Dolby Cinema auditorium will feature dual Dolby Vision 4K laser projectors, designed to deliver ultra-bright images, deeper blacks, and enhanced color accuracy. The theatre will also include studio-grade Dolby Atmos audio, creating an immersive multidimensional sound experience for audiences.
The main Dolby Cinema screen will measure approximately 75 feet in DCI flat ratio, making it one of the largest Dolby Cinema screens in Asia. The auditorium is planned to accommodate around 644 seats, offering premium seating designed for comfort and optimal viewing.
In addition to the flagship screen, the multiplex will feature four fully immersive design screens, each equipped with advanced projection and sound systems. The venue is also being positioned as Hyderabad’s first Dolby Cinema, bringing the globally recognized premium cinema format to the city.
Dolby Cinema combines Dolby Vision HDR projection and Dolby Atmos spatial audio to create a highly immersive theatrical experience. The format is available in limited locations worldwide and is known for delivering exceptional picture quality and powerful surround sound.
Located in the rapidly developing Kokapet IT and residential corridor, Allu Cinemas aims to become a major entertainment destination for Hyderabad. With large-format screens, advanced audio systems, and modern auditorium design, the theatre is expected to redefine the city’s premium movie-going experience.
