Amar Veerula Stupa to become tourist spot

The Amar Veerula Stupa in Khanapur is set to become a tourist spot with a Rs 1 crore investment from the government. The project is nearly finished, and the memorial garden will soon be open, according to Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju Patel.

On Saturday, the MLA paid his respects at the stupa located in Indravelli mandal centre. As part of a horticulture initiative, saplings were planted in the area.

During his visit, the MLA reviewed the ongoing development work. He mentioned that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had promised to enhance the Martyrs’ Stupa, and the government is actively working on it. Additionally, families of the martyrs have received house plot documents. The MLA plans to discuss further improvements to the stupa with the Chief Minister.
