Hanumakonda: On Saturday, Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy emphasized the importance of including yoga in daily routines. He participated in International Yoga Day celebrations at the Thousand Pillar Temple in Hanamkonda.
The event was organized by the Central Archaeology Department and Telangana State AYUSH Department. Warangal Parliament MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya joined him, and they practiced yoga with guidance from experts.
The MLA described yoga as a way to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. He encouraged people to adopt yoga, highlighting its role in Indian culture.
He acknowledged yoga’s global recognition and connection to Indian traditions.
Dr. Kavya called yoga a valuable part of India’s cultural heritage. She mentioned that International Yoga Day is celebrated worldwide, supported by 177 countries at the United Nations.
She advised incorporating yoga and meditation into modern lifestyles. She urged the AYUSH Department to promote yoga for health benefits across both urban and rural areas.
