Amid the unveiling of Ambedkar statue, HMDA announces closure of parks and restaurants under BPP guidelines.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will close all parks and restaurants under the Buddha Poornima Project (BPP) on the 14th of this month. The decision was made for the convenience of people because the Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will unveil the BR Ambedkar statue near the New Secretariat on Friday.

The HMDA stated that NTR Garden, NTR Ghat, Lumbini Park, Sanjivaiah Park, Jala Vihar, and Amogham Restaurant will be closed tomorrow.
