    Water levels in the Yamuna river are rising again and have already gone above the danger level. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and asked him to take necessary measures. Shah later tweeted about his discussion with Saxena regarding the water level in the river.

    On Sunday morning, the water level was recorded at 205.90 meters, which is 57 centimeters above the danger mark.

    The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall in several districts of Gujarat, including Kutch and Porbandar.

    Shah also spoke to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to inquire about the situation caused by heavy rainfall in different parts of the state. He mentioned that there are sufficient teams of SDRF and NDRF available to assist those in need.
