The leader of the BRS party in Telangana has criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah for wanting to take away reservations for Muslim minorities in the state. Dr. Dasoju Sravan believes that this will only make things worse for the Muslim community, leading to more poverty and alienation, and possibly even unrest in Telangana.

Dr. Sravan also criticized Amit Shah for saying that the reservations taken away from Muslims would be given to OBCs instead. He believes this is just a way to distract from the issue of Muslim reservations. The Union Home Minister had announced that the BJP party would revoke 4% reservations for Muslims if they were voted into power in Telangana.
