The Hyderabad drug case has seen new names emerge, with director Krish Jagarlamudi and actor Lishi Ganesh implicated in a police report after a raid at the Radisson Blu hotel in Gachibowli.
Krish, known for films like ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Konda Polam,’ is reportedly on the run and has not cooperated with police requests for questioning or drug testing. Lishi Ganesh, an actor and social media influencer, is also missing, as reported by her sister who filed a missing person report.
Complicating matters further, authorities have mentioned that crucial CCTV footage from the hotel is missing, with some cameras allegedly not functioning properly. While Krish maintains his innocence and says he was only briefly at the hotel, police believe Lishi is purposely avoiding interrogation.
The case began when Hyderabad police acted on a tip and raided the Radisson Blu. Ten individuals, including Krish, Ganesh, and producer Kedar Selagamsetty, were named in the FIR. BJP leader Yoganand’s son was among those arrested. Initial drug tests showed the presence of cocaine, but some suspects have not yet been detained.
This is not the first time Lishi Ganesh has been connected to drug-related incidents. Both she and her sister were involved in a similar case at the same hotel in 2022.
The investigation is ongoing, and more information is anticipated. This development has caused shockwaves in the Telugu film industry, sparking concerns about alleged drug use among celebrities.
