Hyderabad: Uday Kumar, the CEO of Arogyasri, along with senior Health Department officials, recently made unannounced visits to various Wellness Centres in Telangana. This move came after Health Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha expressed serious concerns about these centres’ operations and instructed officials to verify the real situation.
Following the Minister’s orders, Uday Kumar and his team spent two days inspecting these centres. They focused on checking medicine availability, doctor and staff attendance, and other key operational areas.
The surprise visits took place in locations like Vanasthalipuram, Khairathabad, Kukatpally, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, and Adilabad. The Minister emphasized the Health Department’s dedication to ensuring transparency, accountability, and better service at all Wellness Centres for the public’s benefit.
