Arrests Made in Connection with Homicide Linked to Immoral Affair

In Rangareddy, the Keshampet police have solved a missing person’s case that turned into a murder case involving five people. The crime involved an alleged immoral affair and has shocked the community.

The incident happened on the night of August 15 at around 11:50 pm in the outskirts of Nidudavelly village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Keshampet police station. The case was reported on August 29 at 10:45 am.

The complainant, Deepak Pashwan (27), and the deceased, Karan Kumar (18), both come from Bahara village in Bihar but were living in Siddipet. The accused in the case are Ranjith Paswan (33), Santosh Kumar (23), Dablu Kumar (21), and two juveniles, all from Bihar. Deepak Kumar reported his brother missing, which was initially treated as a missing case. There were suspicions surrounding the family members, particularly Ranjith, who had a history of disputes with the deceased’s family.

Deepak Kumar, who was living and working in Telangana, suspected foul play in his brother’s disappearance. The deceased and the accused families had been living close to each other for some time, leading to tensions and disputes. Karan Kumar was accused of having an immoral affair with a member of Ranjith’s family. This accusation led to a heated confrontation. While Karan was working at a chicken farm in Udita village, Balanagar mandal, Mahabubnagar district, Ranjith and the other accused attacked him with a knife. They then buried his head in the mud, causing his untimely death.

Under the orders of Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra, an investigation was initiated by a team led by K Narayana Reddy, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad, and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad.

During the investigation, the police recovered the deceased’s cell phone as well as the phones belonging to the accused.
