Hyderabad witnessed a historic moment as Arun Ice Creams, one of India’s most popular ice cream brands, successfully gathered 5,113 children to create the world’s largest ice cream social party. The event, held on February 6, 2026, resulted in a new Guinness World Record, marking a significant achievement for the homegrown brand on the global stage.

The record-breaking initiative brought together thousands of children who enjoyed a variety of Arun Ice Creams products including blackcurrant and strawberry bars, caramel sandwiches, and chocolate cones, all made with real milk and cream. The participants consumed ice cream continuously for 30 minutes, creating a seamless and coordinated experience that met the strict requirements for the world record attempt.

Mr. R. G. Chandramogan, Chairman of Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, expressed his joy at the achievement. He stated that seeing 5,000 children come together to set a Guinness World Record in an ice cream social party was a truly cherished moment. The previous record for the largest ice cream social party was set on January 30, 2019, in Salerno, Italy, with 962 people participating in an event organized by UNILEVER Italy. Arun Ice Creams has now surpassed this by more than five times, establishing a remarkable milestone that showcases the brand’s reach and popularity across India.

The Guinness World Record was officially recognized by Mr. Richard William Stenning from the UK Guinness Team. The certificate and honor were presented to Mr. C. Sathyan, Vice Chairman of Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, during a ceremony attended by representatives from the participating schools. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across multiple educational institutions in Hyderabad.

A total of 17 schools participated in the record-breaking event, including Sri Durga High School, Vaidehi Dolphine High School, St. Mary’s Grammar High School, CMR International School, Akshara Vaagdevi International School, Army Public School, Little Flower High School, Sreenidhi Global School, Takshasila Public School, Sri Sai High School, Sreenidhi High School, Delhi World School, Sreenidhi School of Excellence, Sri Sai Ram High School, Pallavi Model School, Pallavi International School, and St Mary’s PSM High School.
