    Former Minister and Congress MLA candidate Tummala Nageswara Rao was warmly welcomed by Arya Vysya people and trade union leaders at Gandhi Chowk in Khammam. A rally was organized in support of Tummala, led by Arya Vysya Sangam leader Kodumuri Madhu, who recently joined the Congress party in the presence of Tummala.

    During the rally, Tummala praised the contributions of the Arya Vysya community in society, particularly in ensuring the availability of grocery items to people in remote areas. He promised to make efforts to establish a corporation for the Arya Vysya community under a Congress government. He also emphasized that the community would be given priority in the Khammam Agriculture Market Committee. Tummala expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of the Arya Vysya community throughout his political career. Later, he was honored by Arya Vysya leaders during the event.
