Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has called the recent shooting spree by an RPF Jawan on a Jaipur-Mumbai Express a “terror attack.” The Jawan allegedly shot and killed four people, including his senior, while the train was in motion. Owaisi believes that this incident is a result of continuous anti-Muslim hate speech and the unwillingness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address and stop it.
In a tweet, Owaisi also questioned whether the accused RPF Jawan would become a future BJP candidate and if the government would support his bail. He expressed concerns that the Jawan might be celebrated upon his release. It is suspected that three of the victims were targeted because of their Muslim identity, as the accused allegedly shot them after spraying bullets on his senior.
