The additional collector, Cheerla Srinivas Sagar, has instructed officials to take appropriate measures for the upcoming election. In a review meeting with district election nodal officers, the additional collector stated that the expenditure team should provide details of candidates’ expenses regularly. The MC MC committee should record information about paid articles and advertisements in channels and newspapers. Nodal officers for SST, FST, VST, and C vigil should be familiar with election commission rules. The C Vigil officials were ordered to investigate complaints in the district with evidence.
The additional collector also instructed officials to be prepared to brief election observers when they visit the district. Cheerla Srinivas Sagar emphasized that officials should work hard to ensure peaceful and transparent elections. The district AO Bhadrappa, SDC Subramanyam, expenditure team members Vijay Bhaskar, Narayana, Priyanka, C section superintendent Naresh, DPRO Chennamma, and other officials attended the meeting at the Collectorate on Wednesday.
