Assembly Session Continues for Fifth Day with Ongoing Budget Discussions

The fifth day of the Telangana Assembly session started today at 10 am. The main focus was on discussing the state budget.

This discussion will cover 19 different departments. This comes after the Congress government recently presented the budget in the Assembly.

To give more time for budget discussions, the usual question and answer session was canceled for both houses. This allows members to talk directly about the budget.

The Congress government made the initial budget proposal on Thursday. The general debate on the budget began on Saturday. There has been a heated exchange between the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Congress party over fiscal policies and budget allocations.
