Authorities have confiscated almost 4 tons of narcotics to date.

The Rachakonda Commissionerate announced that they seized 3,891.813 kg of drugs from various suspects this year. Last year, there were 106 cases reported in 23 police stations in Rachakonda.

Under the supervision of the drug disposal committee, authorities confiscated a total of 3,891.813 kgs of narcotics this year. The drugs were disposed of through an incineration process at Common Bio-medical Waste Treatment Facilities in Thukkapur village of Yadadri Bhongir District. Secret teams are also working to catch those involved in illegal drug activities.

Cases will be filed against individuals involved in drug transportation, consumption, and manufacturing. Additionally, those addicted to drugs and using ganja will also face legal action. The goal is to make Telangana a ‘Drug-Free’ state.
