Hyderabad: Local Muslim leaders and Congress supporters are encouraging Mohammad Azharuddin to run in the Jubilee Hills by-election. With the election date nearing, they want him to enter the race.
Azharuddin has been assuring his backers of his strong trust in the party’s leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, and state Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. He confidently believes the party will support his bid to become an MLC despite any challenges.
