Three people accused of leaking exam papers for the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) have been granted bail by a court in Hyderabad. Renuka, Ramesh and Prashanth Reddy were each granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000, with the condition that they appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for three days a week, and have their passports seized. Renuka had previously had a bail petition dismissed, but has now been granted bail on the same terms as the other two. The trio are among 27 people arrested in connection with the TSPSC scam that came to light in March.

Renuka, who was a friend of P Praveen Kumar, the prime accused in the case, is accused of purchasing the question paper from Praveen and selling it to her brother and other candidates through Ketavath Srinivas, a police constable. Although initially arrested on March 13 following a complaint by a member of the public, more people have been arrested in connection with the scandal, including six on Tuesday.
