Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, launched a new mobile app called Bharata Vahini on Wednesday. The app was created by the Bharathi Seva Trust Management.
Dr. Shiva Subramanyam, Chairman of the Bharathi Seva Trust, explained that the app offers information about more than 50 Indian Rishi scientists. These individuals are part of the Sanatana Hindu tradition and are not well-known in modern society.
The app also includes important Hindu scriptures such as all 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita, the seven cantos of the Valmiki Ramayana, the 18 parvas of the Mahabharata, and the Ashtadasa Puranas. Additionally, users can listen to MP3 stotras (devotional hymns) of various Hindu gods.
The Bharata Vahini app is available in five languages: Telugu, English, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
