Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar Speaks Out Against KTR and BRS Party

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, made serious claims on Sunday that former minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) will not face arrest despite his alleged involvement in the Lagicharla incident and other scams. According to Bandi Sanjay, KTR’s freedom from arrest is due to a secret deal between Chief Minister K Chandrashekara Rao (KCR) and senior Congress leaders in Delhi.

Bandi Sanjay alleged that KCR had negotiated with Congress leaders and met their demands to protect his son from legal trouble. He claimed that because of this deal, KTR is safe from being arrested, even though there are multiple allegations against him.

The Union Minister went on to accuse two political families of controlling Telangana: the family of KCR and the family of Congress leader Revanth Reddy. He suggested that these two families have business connections and that their relationship is helping them maintain power. Bandi Sanjay also declared that he would expose these connections with evidence. He clarified that he has no business ties with Revanth Reddy and challenged anyone to prove otherwise, even offering to retire from politics if proven wrong.

Regarding Telangana’s current political situation, Bandi Sanjay claimed that the BRS party was creating chaos to gain political advantage. He accused BRS leaders of conspiring to cause unrest during protests by Group 1 candidates and constables. He further alleged that BRS leaders were involved in violent incidents under the guise of supporting farmers and called for the BRS party to be banned in the state.

In addition, Bandi Sanjay accused KTR of taking advantage of the government’s failures, stating that KTR had gone to Delhi to meet Congress leaders and ensure his legal issues were ignored. He referenced past incidents involving KCR’s family, such as the phone-tapping case, the Janwada farmhouse rave party, and the Formula Race scam, where no action was taken despite evidence. He also mentioned the Dharani portal scam, where large amounts of land were allegedly misappropriated, yet no arrests were made.

Bandi Sanjay reiterated his claim that Telangana is under the control of two families, KCR’s and Revanth Reddy’s, and promised to provide proof of their political and business connections. He also challenged anyone to prove that he has business ties with Revanth Reddy, pledging to quit politics if such evidence is found.

When asked about the possibility of being given the leadership of the BJP in Telangana, Bandi Sanjay said that he is currently focused on his duties as a Union Minister and dismissed the likelihood of taking on state leadership. He mentioned that such roles are only given under special circumstances, as seen with leaders like JP Nadda and Kishan Reddy during election times. However, he noted that the situation in Telangana does not currently warrant such a decision.
