BJP Leader Bandi Sanjay Blames Congress and BRS for Water Crisis

BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar has blamed the Congress and BRS parties for the ongoing Krishna water dispute. He said their actions have caused a serious water shortage in North Telangana.

Speaking on the issue, Bandi Sanjay accused former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) of working with the previous Andhra Pradesh government in a way that hurt Telangana’s water rights. He claimed that KCR accepted only 299 TMC of Krishna water when the state was supposed to get 575 TMC. This decision, he said, has badly affected irrigation and drinking water in the region.

He also criticized both the BRS and Congress governments for failing to protect Telangana’s fair share of water. According to him, their negligence and political interests have harmed farmers and people in North Telangana.

The Krishna water dispute has been a long-standing issue between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Water allocation has remained a major concern, affecting both irrigation and drinking water supply. BJP leaders continue to demand a fair share of Krishna river water and blame past governments for compromising Telangana’s interests.
