The Telangana State High Court expressed anger towards Bandi Sanjay, a BJP leader and MP from Karimnagar, for repeatedly missing the cross-examination during the trial in the High Court regarding an election dispute involving Gangula Kamalakar, an MLA from Karimnagar. Bandi Sanjay’s lawyer requested another deadline as he is currently in America, but the High Court made it clear that the investigation must be completed within six months. Bandi Sanjay’s lawyer stated that he will be present on September 12 after returning from America. The High Court ordered Sanjay to pay Rs 50,000 to the Military Welfare Fund for failing to attend the cross-examination and adjourned the hearing to September 20.
