The move came after videos emerged on social media showing the Indian flag being pulled down at the Indian mission in London during a protest by pro-Khalistan elements. A spokesperson for the British High Commission declined to comment on security matters. Meanwhile, the UK government has deployed more police and barricades outside the Indian High Commission in London. India summoned the British deputy high commissioner on Sunday night and demanded an explanation over the “complete absence of security”.
