A strong storm called Cyclone Mocha is happening right now over the Bay of Bengal. It started as a deep depression and has now turned into a cyclonic storm. Officials think it will hit land between Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh and Sittwe in Myanmar. Yemen named the cyclone Mocha, which is pronounced as “Mokha”. It will bring heavy rain to the Andaman islands.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says that the storm will become a severe cyclonic storm tonight and reach its peak on May 13. Then, it will start to weaken on May 14. When the storm hits land, it will have a maximum sustained wind speed of 120-130 kmph, with gusts up to 145 kmph.
