Gadwal: BGR Private High School in Ieeja is facing accusations for falsely claiming to follow the CBSE curriculum without proper approval, misleading both parents and students.

On Tuesday, BRSV State Leader Kurva Pallaiah and former BRSV Town President Kurva Veeresh, with others, filed a complaint with the Mandal Education Officer at the MRC building in Ieeja. They urged strict action against private schools breaking education laws.

They accused BGR school of not passing the State Eligibility Test and lacking CTET-certified teachers, yet pretending to offer the central syllabus. The school lacks CBSE recognition and a State NOC but still sells CBSE books at high prices, misleadingly promoting itself as CBSE-affiliated. It also fails to provide digital blackboards as required but charges high fees, taking advantage of parents.

Other private schools face issues too. Navabharat High School operates without a proper playground, fire safety, or building permissions. Tagore High School lacks fire safety and hostel permits but continues to run. In some cases, school buildings are rented out for B.Ed colleges, violating education rules. Hostels run without proper authorization, and many schools lack adequate parking for buses.

Kurva Pallaiah emphasized, “Running schools under the CBSE name without approval endangers children’s future. Parents are misled, and students are at risk. Authorities must act and revoke these schools’ permissions.”

The leaders called for an immediate investigation into these schools and the cancellation of permissions for those breaching CBSE and state education regulations.
