Dr Tellam Venkat Rao, a doctor turned politician, is aiming to bring development to Bhadrachalam. Running as the BRS candidate, Dr Rao is hopeful that the people will support him.
Born in 1978 in the tribal village of Chinabadevu, Dr Rao has always been dedicated to serving the people. With a background in medicine, he initially joined the YSR Congress Party. However, his desire for change led him to resign from his government medical job in 2014 and pursue a career in politics.
In 2014, he ran as a Congress Party candidate for the Mahabubabad Parliament seat but was unsuccessful. Undeterred, he later became the State Secretary of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). In 2018, he ran as a BRS candidate but faced defeat once again. Now, he is running as a BRS candidate for the Bhadrachalam assembly with a focus on developing the region.
During his campaigns, Dr Rao has highlighted the lack of development and funding in the region under the previous MLA from the opposition party. He is urging residents to give him a chance to bring about much-needed development.
Dr Rao remains hopeful that the people of Bhadrachalam will support him in the upcoming elections. He is committed to representing the local population and addressing their needs and aspirations.
