The Congress party started their campaign in Ward Number 11 of Balaji Nagar Colony in Mahabubnagar. The campaign was led by Erpula Nagaraju, president of the SC Cell Town, along with other senior congress leaders. Former MLA N M Srinivas Reddy, former market committee chairman Brahmaiah, DCC vice-president Chandra Kumar Goud, and other party members also participated.
During the campaign, the Congress leaders expressed their concerns about the lack of development in the district over the past nine years. Former MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, who played a key role in the development of Palamuru, shared his disappointment about the current state of affairs.
The leaders criticized the present government, focusing on issues such as legal cases, encroachments, threats, and attacks faced by those who challenge the leadership on development and welfare. They highlighted that a significant number of these cases are against BCs (Backward Classes).
Former MLA Reddy reassured the crowd that the Congress party is committed to bringing positive changes in Mahabubnagar. He emphasized that the Congress has a vision to implement schemes for the impoverished and middle class. He promised that the party would ensure the implementation of their “6 Guarantees” within 100 days of assuming power.
