    Kothagudem – Women from the Srirama Joint Liability Group in Bhadrachalam felt proud and happy after Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned them in his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address. Group leader T Lalitha expressed their joy on Monday, attributing their achievements to a focus on quality and strong customer trust both locally and abroad.

    Lalitha thanked ITDA PO Bhadrachalam B Rahul for providing essential training and helping establish their production unit, acknowledging this support as vital for their initial steps.

    PO Rahul expressed his delight at the recognition. He recalled their previous exhibition at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where President Droupadi Murmu praised their millet biscuits for their taste and quality. Following this, their inclusion in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program was decided.

    Rahul mentioned plans to enhance marketing efforts with the help of private companies’ CSR initiatives and to offer further branding and packaging training.

    Officials noted that the Prime Minister’s endorsement significantly boosted the visibility and brand value of ‘Bhadradri Millet Magic’.

    In ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Modi highlighted the transformation of these women from field laborers to successful entrepreneurs. Once working hard in fields, they now produce millet biscuits, sold from Hyderabad to London. After receiving training, they joined a self-help group, marking a significant change in their lives.
