The leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in Telangana, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has expressed his shock and disappointment at the recent disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi, a prominent member of the Indian National Congress party, was convicted for two years in a criminal defamation case, which Bhatti Vikramarka claims is a conspiracy by the ruling party leaders against the secular fabric of the country.

Bhatti Vikramarka called upon all proponents of democracy, secularism, and progressive leaders to condemn the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha in one voice. He also asked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government to take note that lakhs of people were with Rahul Gandhi on this issue.

Speaking at a gathering in Vaadiguda, Asifabad mandal, as part of his ongoing padayatra, Bhatti Vikramarka praised Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to unite the country through his Bharat jodo padayatra. He described Rahul Gandhi as a real advocate of democracy who was not afraid of the threats of PM Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah to send him to jail.

Bhatti Vikramarka also alleged that Modi and Amit Shah had conspired to ensure the conviction of Rahul Gandhi in the criminal defamation case. He claimed that the blood of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who sacrificed her life for the dignity and unity of the country, was flowing in the veins of Rahul Gandhi.

Overall, Bhatti Vikramarka’s statements reflect the frustration and disappointment felt by many Congress party members and supporters over the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi. Bhatti Vikramarka’s call for unity among proponents of democracy and secularism is an important reminder of the need to protect these values in India’s political system.
