The Telangana government is working to speed up the implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, which provides financial aid to farmers. They are consulting with farmers and farmers’ associations to determine if the assistance should be for 5 acres or up to 10 acres. Workshops are being held in joint districts where suggestions and feedback from farmers are being considered.

Recently, a workshop on farmer assurance was held in Warangal with Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and other ministers in attendance. The meeting focused on the responsibilities and procedures related to the Rythu Bharosa Scheme. The committee will evaluate the conditions, cultivated area, and the status of farmers in Telangana.

Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka assured that all feedback from farmers will be taken into account when making decisions regarding the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He mentioned that promises such as free bus travel and free electricity for women are being fulfilled by the Congress government. The government provided Rythu Bandhu assistance to farmers once and is now discussing further aid in the assembly.

He emphasized that the money allocated for farmer assurance comes from taxpayers, so they are seeking input from all sections to efficiently use the funds. The sub-committee will continue to engage with farmers and stakeholders to ensure that the Rythu Bharosa scheme benefits farmers throughout Telangana.
