Gadwal: A free medical camp was held in the villages of Penchikalapadu and Tummalacheruvu in Gattu mandal, Jogulamba Gadwala district. This camp, supported by Bhavishya Bharat LTI MINDTREE, aimed to provide healthcare services to those in need.
Villagers received thorough health checkups. Services included blood pressure and blood sugar checks, along with free essential medicines.
Dr. Murali, leading the camp, highlighted the need for early health diagnosis and regular checkups. He advised against ignoring symptoms and self-treatment, especially for chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Murali recommended dietary changes, such as eating roti instead of rice, and encouraged physical activity and reducing processed sugar intake.
The event had strong community involvement. Staff Nurse Ragini helped with evaluations, Pharmacist Jilani handled medicine distribution, CO Halim Pasha managed logistics, and ASHA Worker Sridevi mobilized local participation, focusing on women and the elderly.
Villagers appreciated the free services and personal care offered. Representatives from Bhavishya Bharat LTI Mindtree confirmed plans to hold more camps in other areas, as part of their commitment to improving rural healthcare.
