Khammam: Aakooti Rambabu, a biology teacher at Zilla Parishad High School in Vemsur, received recognition for his innovative teaching and dedication to environmental education. District Educational Officer Sreeja honored him as the Best Teacher at the District Level.
Rambabu, from Kalluru Gudem village, was chosen by the District Selection Committee. He sparks student interest in biology through engaging lessons and has set up a cost-effective biology lab. This lab uses various models and experiments to make complex topics easier to understand.
Beyond classroom teaching, Rambabu organizes hands-on experiments, science projects, and environmental programs, linking theory to practical applications. His efforts earned him a spot in the State-level Science Seminar and the ‘State Green Champion Award’ from Environment Minister Konda Surekha for promoting eco-friendly practices.
At the award ceremony, DEO Sreeja praised Rambabu for his passion and dedication, saying, “Teachers like Rambabu are shaping future scientists and responsible citizens. His commitment to education and environmental awareness is truly inspiring.”
