In Gadwal, BJP leaders, led by Kampati Bhagat Reddy, organized an event near the new bus station in Aija Town. They aimed to raise awareness about using Swadeshi products.
Bhagat Reddy stressed the importance of strengthening India’s economy with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. He mentioned that global economic shifts make self-reliance crucial for the country.
He reminded everyone of Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s call to support local products and avoid foreign goods. Bhagat Reddy noted that the Swadeshi movement should guide future actions. “Using Made in India products should be a point of pride,” he said.
He explained several benefits of choosing Swadeshi products:
- Economic Growth: Boosting local industries creates jobs and reduces unemployment.
- Support to Local Industries: Helps small businesses, handloom, and handicrafts, providing income for artisans.
- National Security: Minimizing reliance on imports strengthens self-sufficiency.
“True patriotism involves more than just waving flags. It includes purchasing goods made in our country,” he urged.
During Ganesh Chaturthi, he encouraged people to use Swadeshi idols and eco-friendly clay Lord Ganesha idols to protect the environment. “This reflects true patriotism and the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat,” he added.
The event was attended by OBC Morcha District General Secretary Venkatesh Yadav, Aija Town Vice Presidents Lakshman Goud, Y. Venkat Ramulu, Madhavachari, T. Krishna, Narasimhulu, Raghu, and many local residents.
