Mancherial: BJP leader Raghunath Verabelli has called for Rs 25,000 in compensation for families impacted by recent floods. On Saturday, he, along with other BJP leaders, visited flood-affected areas in NTR Nagar and Ram Nagar. They provided support and comfort to the victims.
Raghunath expressed his concerns about the Kaleshwaram Project, constructed by the previous government. He mentioned that this project has led to Mancherial town being submerged in backwaters for four years, resulting in significant losses for the residents.
